I read this awesome book called Mindset by Carol Dweck that shares a more positive perspective on intelligence. Dweck describes intelligence as dynamic verses static and unchanging. She shares that there are two mindsets, growth and fixed, that either expand or limit our approach to life. First of all the book affirmed my indefatigable optimism. That was encouraging. Secondly the book inspired me to be more positive. And to integrate some of the tenants of this book in my therapy work. Read the book to learn how your mindset might be keeping you from reaching your potential. Let me know what you think about the book.
